Dem FreshMen is known for their unique sound, style, and ability to write their own music. The group consists of three men who goes by the names Brand J, CJ, and Dee. They have a large and loyal fan base that range in age from child to adult. Their unique style and sound of music appeals to a very large demographic which allows them to remain relevant in the industry.  Some of their success includes the songs “Snap, Snap” and “I Gotem (Snapback Remix)”, one of their latest titles, “Crush”, has over 400k YouTube views. These songs were rated as the hottest picks of the week in January 2013 by Starfleet Music Poll, and ranked in the top 40 on Indie, Urban, and Hip-Hop charts. Their current single, “Here We Stand (stop bullying)”, was charted at 193 DRT on National Airplay top 200, number three on the top 50 independent charts, and international top 25 digital radio play the first week it was released. “Here We Stand” continued to climb the charts during the second week. “Crush” is currently on the Cash Box Magazine and Looking Ahead charts.  They are on the top 20 charts, National Airplay Top 60, Independent charts, and Top 50 R and B/ Hip-Hop charts in the month of April 2015.

Dem FreshMen has been televised on the Mix Show with 2.6 million statewide (Alabama) views, Hip-Hop Live and R and B live with 2.3 million Comcast viewers (Atlanta, Ga.) They perform a shows all around the country, with their latest performances being the BME Awards Show in Norfolk, VA, and Southern Muscle Awards in Tampa, FL. They have made appearances on the Team Talk Show (WYAM TV51), Team TV Show from Atlanta, Georgia, and the Sidewalk Moving Picture Festival Screen Talk of Hip-Hop. Dem FreshMen have been nominated for several awards such as: 2015 Alabama Music awards “Hottest Movement”, they won the 2013, 2014, and 2015 Hottest Rap Group of the Year Award. Dem Freshmen received the opportunity to perform on BET’s 106 & Park Wildin’ Out Wednesday in March 2014. The dynamic trio had the opportunity to participate on a brief Christmas tour throughout Alabama, Georgia, and Tennessee opening for Mindless Behavior.  They have also opened for acts such as: Real Housewives of Potomac Star Gizelle Bryant, Record Executive Kevin Liles, 2 Chains, Alvin Garrett, Miss Juicy (from the Rickey Smiley morning show), Pastor Troy, Adrian Marcel Neffe ( Keyshia Cole’s sister), Taylor Simone, Momma Dee (from Love and Hip-Hop Atlanta), J. Simone, Creative Mindz crew, Master P, Rickey Smiley, Anthony Lewis, Jacob Latimore, Cash Out, Tinashe, and We are Toonz just to name a few. They even got the chance to perform during the BET Hip-Hop awards weekend in Atlanta, 95.7 Jamz Car and Bike Show, and 105.1 Jamz First Annual Birthday Bash.  They, also, were a part of the Black College Expo Tour.

Dem FreshMen did a promotional tour, “Work Hard, Play Hard; Stop the Bullying Tour which promotes non-violence, and anti-bullying in schools. They also led a Here We Stand-Stop the Bullying tour where they partnered up with 100 days of non-violence and Hip-Hop to Hope which was sponsored by the City of Birmingham Council President Pro-Team Councilor Jay Robinson. They have visited and perform at the Birmingham City Parks and Recreation Summer Camps, and participated in the First Annual Balling for Lupus in Atlanta sponsored by Blaq Pearl CEO Bo Tally.
